About
“I haven’t failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” -Thomas Edison
This website contains 2 main sections – the blog and information about my coaching practice. My blog is mainly about my own journey in personal growth and anything that I have learned along the way.
I have to warn you though…I am not a guru, I do not have all the answers. The truth is, no one does. The one reality that is true for everyone is that we are all human and we never stop learning. Even the greatest athletes and business people constantly make mistakes and re-adjust their strategy. Such is the process of learning.
The blog is less about me being “right” about a particular concept and more about helping to catalyze growth in the readers by expanding their awareness of possibilities and potential areas for growth. This newfound awareness serves as a catalyst for growth. Test the ideas for yourself to figure out what works best for you.
Coaching is about helping people make the changes in their life that they want to make. It’s about figuring out exactly what you want and living your life intentionally to get those things. It’s about feeling a greater connection to other human beings, yourself, nature, and your own sense of spirituality.
Some people hire coaches because they aren’t sure of what they want. Others are not sure how to get there. Some people are paralyzed by fear and doubt and know what they want but want someone else to help them through a difficult transition. These are just examples. There are many reasons to hire a coach. I hired my first coach to help me start my coaching practice.
Change is not easy but it is one of the only things that we can be certain of. Coaching is about helping people make these changes as effortlessly as possible. It’s about helping people obtain their own personal peak performance.

When I learned about coaching, I enrolled in Coach Univerity’s CEP program and became a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). My coaching is in accordance with the regulations set forth on the ICF’s website and I uphold the ethical standards of the ICF at all times.
Before working as a coach I worked as a music teacher in both the private and public school systems in Rhode Island. I still continue to teach guitar and perform around the area because I love doing so. I have a bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a minor in jazz studies from the University of Rhode Island.
